## The short version

TeleScribe is built by clinicians, for clinicians. Every feature exists because a real Australian consultation workflow needed it. The product is positioned strictly as a documentation aid — never diagnosis or treatment recommendation — aligned with the TGA Digital Scribes guidance (5 February 2026).

## What we’re not

- We are not a medical device
- We are not clinical decision support
- We are not a CPaaS or phone dialler (we capture audio via the browser microphone only)
- We are not venture-backed — which is why you pay A$79/month instead of subsidising a marketing department

## What we are

- An Australian company: Black Health Intelligence Pty Ltd, ABN 23 693 026 112
- Australian-hosted: transcripts and clinical notes live in a Supabase database in Sydney (ap-southeast-2)
- Clinician-led: designed around real Australian GP, nurse practitioner, and allied health workflows
- TGA-safe: every AI output is a draft requiring clinician review

## Why TeleScribe exists

Australian clinicians were paying A$120+/month for AI scribes built primarily for US workflows, with data stored offshore and features sold as add-ons. TeleScribe exists because Australian healthcare documentation needs an Australian-built, Australian-owned alternative at a fair price.
